earl grey or mint tea mmm. Nairns oatcakes dipped in mint tea is surprisingly nice. so is Kit kat. I've been getting into expanding my mental archive of recipes so it's no longer just the basic stuff like pasta and roasts and lasagne and italian stuff lol.
I made Ginger Chicken Udon the other day, which was nice, and i've recently made yorkshire pudding and toad in the hole for the first time, which were also fit ^^. I enjoy making mexican stuff such as enchiladas (with lots of cheese...mmmm) tacos, fajitas, quesadillas, burittos etc. I like japanese food soo much and am keen to learn more japanese recipes and not just Instant Ramen lol.
I've never cooked anything really weird though lol, the most adventurous i've been is filleting trouts heh. |

See, you say you're fussy, but you like fish, and therefore you're cool.
I've met a shocking number of people who "don't like fish". I mean c'mon, there are soooo many different kinda of fish...
As for blandness, well... each to their own. Spice is good. I like my food the way I like my poi -- hot n fiery! |

Yeah, it's true fish bones are annoying, but if you prepare it right it shouldn't be a problem.
If you grill or fry salmon for long enough most of the smaller bones kinda melt away. And if you bake trout properly, the meat just falls straight off the bone.
(My apologies to any vegetarians out there). |

Tough call... I'm part thai, so I've eaten a lot of spicy foods!
My Dad used to make a thai green curry that was pure evil. Seriously. Finishing a bowl of it was difficult sometimes.
I had a malay rendang once... That's a spicy beef and coconut curry. Absolutely delicious and very hot.
Hottest thing I ever ate though was by mistake. A few years ago when I had no idea what scotch bonnet peppers were, I chopped 5 of them and threw them into a noodle stir fry I was cooking. It actually made me cry!
I love the taste of scotch bonnets and habanero peppers... But a little goes a long long way!
If anyone happens to find themselves in Nottingham, stop by mine for a thai curry! Don't worry, I'll go easy on you... |
