For airwraps, angle the planes like this ^^^^
If you wrap the poi at the middle in these planes and keep your hands STILL and DONT PULL they will wrap and unwrap.
Once you get the feeling, work on getting them as close to wall plane as you can.
Hope you guys dont mind the link but www.domorepoi.com has an airwrap lesson and is open again for registrations.
Hope that helps,
Oh and hyperloops are very definately possible with fire. Ball chain works great but you can hyperloop with most things to be honest. |

No worries
As for the hyperloops; Try and keep your hands at least 30cm apart, it helps with the timing and enables you to see what's happening.
After you wrap them, count them going past your chin; '1, 2,' then push through with your hand to the other side.
More loopy goodness on one of my old vids here:
<Loops>
I'll also link you to some of my newer stuff, there are a few inf hyp tuts on there: < Goldie Productions>
Hope that helps  |

Well after a few hours practising today and a good few views of the playpoi hyperloop tutorial, i can now airwrap and nearly reverse airwrap, reverse hyperloop and nearly hyperloop |

Ah! Shameless self promotion time!

Dunno if that's any help? It's a video about going slightly crazy when learning these things...
And oh yes, they're fun with fire. If maybe a little scary at first. |
