Yaaaaay for samich!!! Marsh also like Northsandwich cause that's where she lives now (^_^)

I like one of the following:

1) Foot Long fresh French Stick filled with greasy bacon and Licolnshire sausages with either HP or Ketchup depending on my mood!

2) Foot Long white soft roll Chicken and Bacon with Mayonnaise!!

3) Bramble Jelly on white with no butter or marg!!

Any of those three and I'm putty in your hands!!

ANYTHING is good in a baguette, but my favourite baguette is Pork and pesto and lots of butter.

At the moment I be mostly munching Toasted Cheese, ham and Nando's hot Tomato and Basil sauce.
OH MY GOOD GOD TRY IT TRY IT NOW

my my, I was expecting much better results than this, really guys, you're letting the side down.

Last summer I took it upon myself to spend my 6 weeks discovering the best sandwhich known to man.
Many attempts were made, many failed, some however, were damn tastey.

If memory serves, one of my faves:

foot long baguette, slice in half horizontaly (please not these crazy people that put a little slit at the top, you cant fit anything in that poor excuse for a whole Very Happy )

so, we've got:

-top of bread
-good bit of butter, dont skimp now
-home cooked smoked gammon, sliced thinly
-branstons extra chunky pickle
-extra mature chedder cheese, not to thick now or it over powers the sammich
-good helping of mayo, obviosly helmans. Again, not to much or you'll ruin the taste
-pack of walkers cheese and onion crisps
-good amount of iceburg lettuce, shredded if you're feeling funky Smile
-sliced cucumber, remember, lots of thin slices are better than few thick ones
-organic sweet chilli dipping sauce, made exclusively on the isle of whight spread across each individual slice of cucumber Very Happy
-home roasted beef, VERY THINLY SLICED
-ultra thin layer of apple sauce, only their too give the beef its nice flavour, not to actualy taste it Smile
-bit more lettuce
-tomatoes, thinly sliced so you get the cool pattern in the middle and dont loose all the juice
-very thin slice of normal chedder, putting more extra mature here gives it far to much of a cheesey taste.
-some real crispy bacon
-butter the other half of the bread
-spread some tomatoe sauce on that bread (branstons of course Very Happy )
-put bread on top and crush down. To make extra amazing, put some cheese on top and bang under the grill for 30 seconds.

Now, please note the order of this sandwhich has been carefuly considered. For example, you cant properly spread a sauce unless its on a flat serfice, like cheese or ham. Also with the crisps, the cheese and mayo are specificaly placed there to minimise crisp crumb spillage Very Happy

I chalange anyone to eat this monster, and not agree thats its totaly amazing :D
