Hello everyone!!!

Finally got around to registering! Daedra has been going on about you guys/gals/.... for ages! I'm 21, currently studying Marketing in Canterbury, I've been spinning for nearly 4 years now, juggling for about 3 1/2, and I've almost taught myself to fishtail, rubbish at devil stick, contact, diabolo, but I pretend I know what I'm doing lachtot

So please come on in, make yourselves at home! Pull up a beanbag and help yourself to a cookie, there are all types (even for you allergy sufferers/vegans), any questions please please feel free to ask!! (oh and dogs can look up!)

Hahaha! Welcome my friend! Bout time you appeared on here! :P Glad to have you aboard sir!

Few things you do have to watch out for on here:

Felixwah will undoubtedly sniff in your general direction, Marsh (Ridrequiem) will attack you with hugs and brews, we do frequently drift off topic so serious threads don't stay to serious very long lol!

But if your fine with the above as well as random banter and giggles then you'll be safe here!

Enjoy the forums sir and speak to you soon, if not, see you Wednesday!

It's the websites official Poi meet! It might be short notice for you. But if you look at this thread you should find all the relevant details!!
We've already had one of these meets before and it was quite the success! Tho nasty nasty people had the audacity to leave on the day they got there:P Not pointing fingers but Lou! and Emma! Hehehe:P Didn't see as much of you guys as well all would have loved to (^_^)

a contact staff trick using the wrist to continually spin a staff by balancing it on a single point using gravity and a figure 8 arm movement to create rotational force nutty sounds silly to me why would anyone want to learn to do that lachtot

it's a spin and a balance, can be used for transitions, various different types of fishtail can create a weave effect (3 or 5 beat if elbows used) important for contact staff if you want to do a spin with NO gripping of the staff in the hands as it can speed up or slow down spin. the contact equivalent to holding a staff Razz

Fishtails are fun (^_^) you can do all sorts of good stuff with them. Like your 360 fishtails and that weird one where you do one but your arm does a full circle and your staff moves with it...can't remember name but looks funky!
