Tell that to the pile of ash that used to be my monkey fists
I think they were just dodgy tbh |

Sounds like they were dodgey lol! Maybe the rope wasn't twined as good as it should be...damned manufacturers!
I know I wouldn't be pleased if my poi crumbled right in front of my face or sumthing (^_^) |

Will have to agree with Requiem on one massive point...
The drunk part, nothing worse than thinking your in control of the fire but....
My ex managed to give herself a nasty burn on the arm, spinning fire in Thailand whilst drunk...Silly moo!!!
Oh Dae thanks for the storage and care tips!!
Exposure to the elements (Rain, snow, frost, rusty water!! Etc)
I've still yet to discover how to get water to rust? |

I left my fire poi in a bucket outside for 3 months. Then the bolts rusted to oblivion so it was dirty disgusting rusty water that I spent a day trying to get out of my poi so I didn't have the worry of hot or potentially molten bits of metal flinging in my face or into the faces of my peers or onlookers! Hehe!
No worries tho Paul, just don't leave them outside haha! Then your fine! |

| yeah dae, am in a quandry at the mo. My poi and staff are in small outside boiler room. Away from rain and nasty elements, including rusty water, lol! Did cross my mind to move parafin out of same enclosed face but figured that if it was gonna go then don't think a little parafin would make a difference to a gas mains explosion! |

Pretty much agree with you there sweet Requiem, I usedto run a pub so I used to see on a nightly basis what alcohol did to people. Think after tonight though I may go on a bit of a 2 week avoidance of the pub! Would say now but its my housemates 25th today!!
Having people round to the house and then supposed to be clubbing( drum and bass and, yeah ). |

| Wish I owned a pub! My friend wants to own a pub some day. Maybe I'll somehow buy a shed load of shares without him knowing then become corporate manager by default! Muahaha! |
