It's not as bad as you think! I travelled up there by myself and my mp3 died on the way! THAT sucked!
Tho on the way back, just relaxin with some music made the journey fly by! Cept for the occasional food break! |

| More than likely will be going by train yeah! (^_^) Bit on the expensive side, but I get paid next week so I'll set aside the funds then! |

Well just to get to Kendal train station would be £90-£95
But yeah would be cool if I had some company on the way! |

Ahhh the pennies, the train would be the most expensive part =[ im all up for it, before you come weeing through my door, its fixat1on you have to persuade, he doesnt have a job you see..
Is that a £95 ticket one way..?
or are we up in the £200 region for a return ticket..? |

phew, had me worried there Dae!! okay its not too bad.. I really want to come though, will try my hardest at persuading fiaxat1on, make him get of his bum and earn some pennies, or hes gonna be riding his bike up there

Hope you guys do make it. Luckily for me its only about a 40 minute drive so im ok. Thats like £20 petrol
Really looking forward to this now.
Also my bed time. BAck at college tomorrow. My week of doing nothing is unfortunatly at an end.

right according to the map you are above me so i would pick you up on my way
however just one thing most peeps on here are from down south :( so me thinking train price to lakes is going to be quite high!!! how about peak district, near stoke??? that might be better for peeps |

me and dae were just talking about that up there. apparently a weeks return is about £95. and looking at the journey times, Canterbury to glossop (closeat peak district station) is still about 5 hours, so its not really that much more, im guessing prices wont be much if any different at all.
Lake district looks so much better anyways. |

Think I'd be up for camping in the lakes. Did cornwall last year. You don't wanna know how long it took us to get down there, **** trains! To give you am idea though, brighton to london took us over 2 1/2hrs! |
