You went from Brighton to London THEN to Cornwall?! You're mad!! Doesn't Brighton have a line that goes to Cornwall other than a change at London?
Shame no one down south can drive >.<' we totally could have had a road trip!! |

You know that's a genius idea!! Would be cheaper than all of us southerners rail fairs combined as we could all chip in for the one. Plenty of room for baggage and would be a laugh!
Now all we need is someone who can drive the thing! |

| I could pass my driving by August. But then you have to have another license as well specifically for the Minibus. Passing two tests before August may be a challenge! |

i didnt realise you needed an extra licence for a minibus, i know some of them dont, i guess it depends on the size..
Minibus that holds 15 for 8 days for £825.00
thats £55 each if we fill every seat.
not even a minibus is needed really, i highly doubt we will get 15 people from around this area interested. check out the site: http://www.selfdrivesolutionsltd.co.uk/step1.html
they do all family carriers etc.. |

Christ...ok then the likleyhood of filling that many seats is bloody difficult considering I don't even know of that many poi spinners down south! Unless we went all over the place picking everyone up.
But then we have to make sure that we have that many people signed up and who have paid toward the minibus fund already. Then it's a mission for the driver to spend almost a whole day waltzing all over the southern end of Britain picking people up!
Doesn't seem feasible! |

| despite being an oldie, i've never bothered learning to drive. Apart from the odd time like this that it'd be handy, have never really needed anything more than public transport or my trusty feet! About 5 hrs train to lake district, around £100 return. |

All of the places that have been suggested all have a travel time from my place of about 5 or 6 hours, so im really up for anything thats worth the £100 train ticket.. the beach sounds like it could be fun. Have a go with a bit of surfing |

Im still with the lakes over the peaks.
And dont forget the minibus charge is over 8 days. Are we not looking at just a long weekend here?
That would lower the cost dramatically. |

we still need someone with a licence and enough people to fill it up. Otherwise it will be working out more expensive than the train. |
