Hey guys,

I'm new to this site and new to poi strichauge

Was fascinated with all the fire shows I saw whilst I was in Thailand so bought myself a set! Just got back home (near Liverpool) from 5 months travelling and it's nice having a new hobby..

Loving the tuiton section on this site, but not so much enjoying the bruises from when I get it so so wrong..

Just jesting. Welcome to the forums mate!! Yeah bruises are common occurrences here! You're not human if you're not thwacking yourself when learning something new hehe! We've had all sorts of tales of injuries told here!

Heh, will have to check out those poi injury stories for a giggle. God forbid the day I try it with fire.. I would have to book a bed on the burns unit in advance!

Apparently lost my Northern accent a little after travelling with 2 well spoken southerners, but will sort that right out now I'm back. Also have been drinking far too much tea since being home (maybe related to having too much time on my hands).

I'll throw one of those pics in here nutty

'cause I'm not used to forums and they are novelty for me - woop!

Hello! Ha, my nose still hurts from my first try with backwards 3bt weave (be carefull about that one, it hurts us new people) ^^

Haha, yeah tell me about it... That 3BW was vicious!! Mastered it after a determined seshion fighting back tears from hitting my face, but still very wary doing it ;-)

Would love to be good enough to have my own gallery..I'll put it on my list of life-time ambitions to get myself on there xx
