had a quick blast on them the other day, only the 2nd burn so im really hoping they havnt broke.
well they are pretty black, but im presuming this is normal.
but any way, the bottom layer of materal seems to have come out from where the bolt was, something like this;

|.|.|.|
|.|.|.|
|.|_|.|
|___|
(hope you can understand that ) so its like somehow a layer of the materal has come out from underneath the bolt.
the strange thing is its happened to both sets, making me a tad worried about them
are they on the verge of breaking completely? is this something i can fix? or just me worrying over nothing
oh, and i got them from HOP, so they should be reasonalbe quality |

Hmmmm... Is there any chance of a picture so we can assess the damage :P It may be something really simple but won't know until I see it!
As for the blackness this is completely normal. This is just essentially the soot from the fuel burning and maybe one or two bits of burned Kevlar.
It may be just a simple case of re-wicking it at the end of the day which isn't to hard really. |

No problems my friend! I know how irritating it is to have my fire Poi bust! Unluckily for me it was just before a show as well (¬_¬) Hehe! but thanks to Thaitom I managed to solve the issues with quantities of garden wire!! Haha!
Thanks in advance for the pic. Will get back to you as soon as with any ideas that spring to mind! |
