Well since the section's here i thought i'd start off a bit of staff discussion.. Who actually does any staffing here? I've noticed along my poi spinning journey that a lot of spinners dont just spin poi, but do all sorts of other stuff too like staff, devilsticks and juggling.

I do a bit of staff spinning myself(or i used to, till i broke my staff :() as well as juggling :P so i was just wondering if anyone else does!

Yay!

I do staff. Lots and lots and lots. Its the only prop I really do anymore.

I love contact, and am looking forward to learning doubles, and staff juggling.

I've actually never tried to use a staff, although people tell me once you understand the thory of poi and can do that it's exactly the same movements and concepts you use for staff.....is this poppycock or FACT?! :?:

I use a staff in a martial arts sense sometimes, and its quite a bit different. But since doing poi i have been more confident and transitions seem to click? Especially when spinning the staff.

This might just be due to the improvements in hand-eye-coordination poi has given me, though.
