I live in stoke and would like to meet up with spinners of all standards, even if i have to travel.... any one up for it??

hiya im in stoke on trent!

im a fairly new poi spinner. only had my poi bout 3 months. tend to go up hanley park and practice wen its not raingin if not in my house near staffs uni!

were bouts r u?

i live in newcastle town center.... by the college. Iv got a couple of mates that spin in hanley park who u might have seen.
Ill be spinning at satchmos tonight if u feel like coming? if not keep posting here and will see what happens.

well 1st and formost my weekend...pah!
i finished with my boyfriend.which isnt a major crisis coz we havent officially been togetehr long but, its still bothered me a bit for various reasons. i also had a barney with my housemate/best friend.we ok ish now tho so thats good.

ive got a really good mate in bolton who took me out for dinner and a sesh on a dancefloor to let loose sum worries hehe!was ace nite. i wanted to murder the dj tho. he was playing all this new released clubland (slowed down) hardcore. im a big hardcore fan a really big one and it offends me to hear my fav trax being played at the wrong speed haha...u just cant dance proply like an insane person with flailing limbs wen its slow and the people in normal niteclubs just arent as lovely as ravers i find haha.....more class as in one than in the other me suspects hehe!

as for my poi well ive had em since end of october so not long. i can do basic weaves buzzsaw lowsplit butterfly butterfly urm....and a cuple of other whose names i dont no. really find it hard to learn new ones without having sumone there to sort of talk me thru it if that makes sense....im sure half of em that ive tried wud be easier if i was mirroring sumone else.

i spent a bit of time this weekend trying to learn like compound circles or isolations i think they called haha i wasnt in the best mind frame so it diodnt go excellently i can do forward with my rite arm but thats it haha!

this is a pretty big post lol! im bored at work so please write back .!xx

wow sounds like a pretty interesting weekend.... shame u didnt come to satchmos cause it was a gabba, hardcore, breakcore filth night.... what eva one of those is.
sounds like ur doing pretty well considering that uv only had them since october. I would worrie too much about getting isolations just yet.... u just wake up one day and can do them... well thats what happened to me. Iv bin doing poi for 4 years i think and still absoulutly love it. still impressed at how much i can still learn.
What do u do fora living? and sorry to hear about u and ur bf Smile

lol dont worry bout me....i just think me and men r meant to be mates haha. im better single anyway i have an extree disliking to not being able to do my own thing wenever i want to!bit too independant sum say.

i work for a company called remploy at the moment and i co-ordinate the design changes for jcb but i hate it. i dont really do anything and i get bored really easy and i dont get paid enuff to live the lifestyle i so enjoy haha!

wat do u do? how old r ya as well?

not sure when it will be on again cause that one was for a mates birthday, but there are generaly nasty nights on around stoke quite a bit. I do like hardcore and gabba and what not but i wouldnt say thats where my tastes mainly lie. im getting too old for all of that banging music :P im into my breaks and drum'n'bass, stuff like that although i love most types of music.
on the subject of me being old im 22 almost 23 :S (getting old now) what about ur self?

well now i feel uber old haha im 23 24 in july. i have to say im gettin very into my breaks at the mo as well. theres a track called appocolypse dunno if uve heard it. autobots vs screwface i believe......MY GOD wat a tune! it makes me buzz everytime i hear it! without fail. makes me feel all invinsible haha

its alrite for sum int it haha days off indeed. i got no holiday left now aww.....*sheds a tear*
