Have been going to festivals for many years and have always wanted to have a go at those twirly things (i didnt even know what they were called until recently). So at the grand age of 42 i went to my local head shop and got a set of mouse poi-poi. After a few weeks of bashing my poor head, I have now got the hang of it Laughing My younger sister and my 11 yr old daughter have now caught the bug !!!!!! I found the best way of learning moves is by using socks (as in the tution dvd) and I can now do 3 beat weave, hip/shoulder reels, etc.
I have a 7 year old son with cerebal palsy and it affects his right side of his brain. As a result this restricts movement with his left side of his body (movement in hand/legs). I bought new parrot poi that has two finger handles and have been able to get him to have a spin with me. It has been fantastic for him in getting him to move his left arm.
Just want to say thanks :D

Love
