| I'm about two weeks into spinning poi, and in trying to figure out the weave sustained plenty of cranial bonkage. Anyway, I stumbled onto Amy and Chris, two fire spinners from Texas putting on a show on Pearl Street in Boulder, Colorado. After their show, I talked Amy into helping me out with some basics. She was really patient and I managed to get it going for a couple of turns, but it was still pretty sad. The next day I went out in the yard and nailed the weave in about three minutes. So, just a big shout out to Amy. Thanks for the great tips and encouragement. I also got the turns down, too! Best of luck out there. |

Good thing about Poi, and juggling etc. its that most people are very patient and helpful most of the time.
Might have something with the patience it takes to get the own skills up aswell, I've gotten alot of help along my way aswell, alot from here in the site and forums and alot from poi spinners in sweden.
Often I see something I wanna learn somwhere then ask here and I get help pretty quick! |
