I think I accually managed to do this now, Will try to film it for a short clip so somone can tell me if its right or not, looks kinda like the do more poi sites verison only I think I have 2 beats on the left side when doing it and one on the right.

Really wierd move and it unscrews my head sometimes so it falls off, but think it looks nice anyhow Smile

Now to my problem, now I go in from the normal butterfly to it and it works nicely.
But I'm working on inverting it.

But to turn a move where I have 2 beats on one side and only one on the other, where when heck should I do the turn? Dunno how many times I've seen a closeup poi now, but its alot now Smile

Right you want to turn as your hands uncross, quickly spin round following the poi treail- its tricky to time it right- but it works!

Ah yeah I felt I understood it all yesterday although it didnt work just need more practice I think Smile
I went for the "oh now I feel kinda like I would do a normal wave turn" then I try to turn and it seems to work, although my hands go a bit confused and I hit myself in the groin and face at the same time, its lovely Smile
gotta love opposite spinning poi :P

i can only do it if i extend it to 2 beats either side.
I cant do the awesome version where you just swing your torso from left to right for one beat each and it looks CRAZY.
