ok so maybe this only applies to those who live in brighton, but im looking for good places to poi, also for the sake of filming as well,

i used to work at the building where the nightburst promo vid was shot, but never had a camera, those blaconies have such a good view of brighton!!

anyway so i was thinking...

AmEx building, the steps outside.

The walkway with the poles in front of west pier

on the top of an open aire bus at night! (would be short lived i rekon)

the walkway from the odeon to the beachfront, with glow not fire... or maybe fire.... Wink

any suggestions brighton folk??????

nice! I love that bridge, makes me feel tropical, well I have to imagine REALLY hard, but it helps Smile

the library is nice, didn't think of that ill check it out.

I wanna spin in the walkway to the beach by the odeon, right where it opens up to the beach, when its pissing it down, it's such a nice space down there in the bad weather.

Its alright in that walkway but DAMN does it reek!!! Unless you fancy poi-ing with a gas mask :P

Outside the library would be great, good ground, arty and I bet you'd get quite a crowd, but not too much as its kinda secluded.

You could always film at dusk with the palace pier behind you, or sunset with the sunset going through the west pier. Sunset through the west pier looks intense heh.

What are you looking for out of your videos landscape-wise? People walking? Traditional/famous brighton scenery?

Another odd one (it could work!) would be to walk to and then poi at the end of the long arm of the marina wall, lookin toward the cliffs or something.

So, it's been 6 days since you updated us JaS. :P How's it going?

Wen't to hove lawns to do my second ever fire poi on saturday. Phwoooooooooar. Lovely stuff.

Hove lawns is kinda good for a place in the sun, cos its vast. And the huts are cool. It's also good this time of year right on the far side (furthest from the pier) for fire, cos the flats block out any wind. The tenants get a fun show too :P.

Hey! Well I started working (because of travelling i havn't actually worked in like 6 months!) and its a sucky job at Inkfish doing telesales, c'est la vie.

Need to go spinning soon! I havn't had a proper spin in a while just practice without really going for it etc. Hove lawns sounds nice but kinda far from where I am right now.

looking forward to the haloween spin, how is everyone else?
