straight jackets are my newest favorite move by far.
alot easier than it looks.... I've almost get all four planes (two different straight jackets for each direction) and started turning with the straight jacket... looks awesome in a mirror.
even found you can straight jacket a butterfly.
the easiest way to look at it is if you're in a forward 3 beat, pause your move in the middle of it so that both poi are still spinning but your arms are crossed. Next do the same thing in a reverse 3 beat.
next.. try doing it in forward and turning around into reverse while keeping your arms crossed. You'll prolly nail yourself a couple times in the head doing this, but if you can get that, try stopping in the middle of the turn, and you'll realize you're straight jacketing.
The best part about this move tho, imo, is when I realized, that okay.. I can turn with my arms crossed, but if I cross my arms the other way (left arm on top of right as opposed to right on top of left) there's another whole straightjacket to learn.
Then I started dancing around with all 4 straight jackets. I looks really wild. |
