Hey Kat,
I recommend you check out the video section of the forum, some of our forum friends have posted some very inspiring stuff in there that may help you with linking moves together. you tube is another good one for freestyling! |

welcome to the wonderful world of poipoi online, where people go when they are not poi-ing to make sure they don't leave the poi mindset, or something.
tutorials here are really good, and yeah youtube is pretty fresh for poi vids and particular moves etc.
best thing to do is just dance!!!! see what happens, 80% of what I learn is through dancing rather than particular move practice, although that does help, its easier to be 'in the zone' if you like.
meh, anyway, welcome |

When I check this thread i feel like I'm eavesdropping on a personal conversation lol.
I find butterflies are very hard to dance with. They're the kind of thing you do if the music you're going along to calms down or something, before some kickass climax and such. What helps is to learn some wraps off your arms, learn how to wrap out of butterfly and into a weave, and vice versa.
You may resume chatting :P *hides* |
