I was discussing with people of our experiences of foolproof ways to get EVERYONE in a group of people (especially minibuses and coaches) singing.

My absolute favourite is to just sing the word 'Toniiiight....' in tune, and everyone, undoubtedly will sing Don't Stop Me Now by Queen.
Another Queen favourite is to begin with 'Is this the real life?' and you will have a chorus of 'IS THIS JUST FANTASY?!' reply to you. Classic.

Apparently, are if you're in the company of a group of middle aged women, exclaim 'First I was afraid!' and you should get everyone singing 'I will survive'. Which is a good one.

Dad says that working for HSBC is a hellish task, but if anything goes wrong, singing 'Just wanna dance the night awaaaaaaaaaaaay' gets rid of any problems, be it lost paperwork or a fax machine on fire.

What are yours?!

when i'm in the photography darkroom at school, i can't have my mp3 player in there cause it gives off light, so i inevitably end up with really annoying songs in my head, such as Spanish Flea, Wallace & Gromit theme tune, Tetris music, pirates of the carribean theme etc. Then i start humming them, quite quietly, so not many people can hear, but it slowly spreads and people start subconsciously humming it without noticing, and it builds up until someone's like "SHUT UP" or something.

a wim o weh

The wheels on the bus go round and round

Those who dont join in on the singing are either just really grumpy or laughing, always a blast Very Happy
