|
|
| Does anyone else find themselves, or when watching other people, that when one airwraps, one does a little flourish with the hands. Like, only using thumb and forefinger to hold the poi, with the other fingers spread, whilst it airwraps? I think it's very English. Very posh. Like how one would drink a cup of tea. Ehwhat? Hear hear :P |

<<emma puts on her finest english accent and expects any following members to do the same!>>
Goodness gracious, how very right you are,
I beleive that (between you and i as i hate to gossip) the thumb and finger thing is a mere attempt at altering ones social outlook. Possibly in an attemp to appear of a higher class.
bravo heres too all the upper class poi spinning!

Just remembered a fun fact about the little finger extension thing of posh folks, so listen and learn!
Posh people drink tea with extended little fingers right? Well the origins of this are grimmer than one might expect (allegedly).
Wealthy members of society in the old skool got randy too, and they, unlike others, could pay for their 'fun'. Unfortunately, with prostitution comes badness. Often in the form of STD's.
And wouldn't you know it? Stiffening of joints and digits (i.e. little fingers) is a symptom of Tertiary Syphilis!
Maybe we should keep that in mind when airwrapping ha.
