Pet peeves people. What really yanks your chain? Or what has yanked your chain in particular recently or in the past? Share on this thread and together we will expell all our rage into one secure place and the World will be calmer.

Get those feelings out people. And feel free to add something that annoys you, after your first post! If you're like me, you wont be able to think of all the things that annoy you all in one go heh.

I'll start us off:

-People chewing noisily and sloppily. It's vulgar, it's vile and it's just damn ignorant and selfish.
-People who bring up pointless crap just to sound clever at college or go too in depth to the question. The teacher asked you a yes or no question, we don't need to go into a bloody philosophy debate about it.
-People who power trip at the first chance they get! Eg. if someone gets boosted up or promoted for the day cos someone else is ill, they just go nuts and turn into a dictator.
- And to finish off, people who say 'well you tell me!' when they think a question you've asked them is obvious. DOESN'T THE FACT THAT I'VE ASKED YOU AUTOMATICALLY IMPLY THAT I CAN'T TELL YOU!??

I agree with all those points too. Especially the noisy eating one. I once told my grandad to shut the f*** up because he was chewing noisily for like an hour and i got soooo annoyed. Got majorly killed for it though.

People that smell. HAVE A SHOWER. We are a civilised community. There is not a shortage of water,

People who, when you tell them what you do for a living start to talk with a 'my job's better than yours on a money basis therefore i'm clearly more socially acceptable and of a higher class than you' way. that gets my goat especially as they have no idea what my previous job was.....

ooooo and..... people who want to know everything thats going on in everybodies life.....jesus, that drives me nuts, probably because i'm not a very curious person. lie

don't even get me started on people who don't clear up after their dogs....... Very Angry

Deep breath...

Squeaky noise when wet shoes meet pedals of car, its nasty, makes me irritated, which makes me mad.
Homework/coursework/any kind of work at home, which involves school.
Talking/whispering/bitching behind ones back, just say it to my face, and see if i give a damn about what you think.
Being treated like a kid still, yes i am capable of catching a train on my own, no i will not go to bed at 11.00 today because you say so and yes i am going out tonight even though you say no, its only till 11.00 jeez.
Not being allowed to network a computer in my room. why jolly well not?? i'll pay.
Being expected to be able to do everything, im not superwoman, although that would be fun.

i'll think of more, i have some more already but not suitable for a forum.

Empty promises.

I've been witnessing these a lot lately. Not even to me. It saddens me to see younger people getting their hopes raised sooooo high with elaborate (yet completely practicable) promises, and then nothing being done.

And idea is one thing, but until you're at least half way to completion, you shouldn't broadcast it.

Well maybe not that bad, but there is a few things that really annoys me.
- People playing crappy music inside the Subwaytrains... (makes me wanna jump the train)
- Jeaulosy(or however its spelled), can ruin alot.
- And ofc. Spambots... :P

-people who are in charge of you and think that just because you can't be arsed to read a bloodyawful script to 200 people who don't want to hear it that, that somehow you are incapable of doing it rather than simply choosing not to and treat you accordingly and fire you.

*people blocking intersections
*people yelling instead of discussing a matter reasonably
*people blaming everyone else for their issues.
*random repepitive noises (ie foot tapping, fingernail clicking, etc)
*people act like you're a peon when you compliment them on a performance.
*someone coming into a room (where I am enjoying silence), plopping down and turning on the tv or radio without even asking if I mind. Very Angry

*people who encourage others to go for it

*being in nature
*being appreciated
*people who are immediately super-friendly when they meet someone
*trading
*dancing
*people who reach out to someone they barely know (or don't know at all) when that person is struggling
*people who can laugh at themselves

ok, the thing that annoys me the most is...(i'll give a little senerio, as this happen to me this morning)

I get the 7.21 bus to college (its a long trip!) the bus is packed with people going to work, and sitting right behind you is the king of all chavs playing 50 cent of snoop dog or something similar, in my case it was hardcore rap, the worst of the worst, he plays it at full volume on his phone and then procedes TO RAP ALONG TO IT, and fails miserably, so i'm stuck in a traffic jam for ONE AND A HALF BL**DY HOURS LISTENING TO SOME TW*TY CHAV TRYING TO RAP.

That is what annoys me the most, it makes me feel like taking out a macheti and doing something inappropriate.
