Unfourtunatly the best thing i can suggest is practice, practice and more practice.
though what I helped me was to forget about mastering tricks, and just have fun, dont work yourself up, and do a bit of free style, have fun, stick some music on and spin. You will actually find you make your own tyricks up and sometimes master others without knowing it. For example my mate was freestyling and managed to figure and perform a 7bw.
THats my advicE :D |

My advice for angel wings is going to sound very bucket-chemistry, but seriously:
Launch your hands behind your head.
Not delicately. Violently. The mistake a lot of people make with angel wings is that they don't actually put their hands behind their head, more above it. Which is fine once you've got it down, but it wont work when you're learning it.
Shoulder reels are kinda confusing, erm.. practice doing it with each hand individually, i.e work out what your right hand is going to do - put that poi down, work out what the left will do, and then try and put them together, nice and slow.
Hope that helped. Wear a gumshield :p |
