WoW! Cant believe it....After weeks of trying i finally nailed that reverse 3 beat weave! Those damn reverse weaves will no longer haunt meeeeeeeeeeeeee!
also perfected my 5 beat weave
learned split reels - split shoulder reels linked anndddddddd
extended reels (Almost)
So weird the way you suddenly pick up a your poi and suddenly finally do a move you've tried for so long ....then as if by magic it just sticks and you never forget it

I just got 3bw, backwards and forwards, 180 and 360 in 3bw, shoulder reels, chasing the sun, hip reels occasionally, takeouts, thread the needle and not beating myself black and blue with tennis balls on strings, just this weekend!
Considering I've been stuck on 3 moves for years, I'm pretty happy with that!
OOh, and I managed to get 4 sets of poi all tangled up together from spinning. Some kind of record, surely!?!? |

Chains does feel a hell of a lot different than just socks yeah :( took me a while to get my hyperloops and air wraps as good on chains as they are on socks!! Hehe:P
Well done on the BtB3bt! It was a bloody pain (Literally) to learn for me! Glad you got it! :D can you do it both forwards and backwards BtB yet? :D Next you can tackle BtB Waist wraps (^_^) 'Tis a pretty sweet tricks (^_^)
Take care!

Well seeing as no one has touched this thread in a while I think I'll give an update as to what I've been working on lately!
- Alternate Butterfly Barrel Rolls with Inswings
- Inverted 3bt Weave
- Inverted Butterfly
- Inverted 2bt TTN
- Inverted 4bt TTN
- Inverted 3bt Hybrid Weave
- Infinite Switch between Hyperloops and Barrel Rolls
- Various Wibbles
That's about all I've been learning lately :D I'm learning more Inversions and dipping my toes into Atomic Inversions as well. But no success in that yet! :D |
