Ive had my fire poi for about a year, but there looking very sorry for themselves now, and dont hold a flame for as long anymore. Is this the time to get new wicks? And is there anything you should do to your fire poi to keep them burning well? Like maintenance - Preparation to new wicks to make them last longer.
All Ive done is kept them in a sealed container when there not used. |

Heh, actually i think having the same wicks for an entire year is pretty good! i think you're supposed to change them regularly anyway, i've had my firestaff for about four months and the wicks are already looking a bit knackered.
I think its best to just keep them warm and dry when not in use, so that they're not getting mouldy and rotten from damp. keeping them in a sealed container is the best you can do i think, it might just be time to fork out for some new wicks, you've had them quite a while! |

If you're thinking of getting new wicks, we're getting a new batch of fire wick in tomorrow morning, it'll be in the Accessories section.
