Hey everyone, I wanted to try to do the split TTN, but figured it would be easiest if I knew how the heck to do an split butterfly first. I have a vague idea of what I'm supposed to be doing, but no idea how to get into it. Any tips?
Thanks,

I find split TTN a WORLD easier than split butterfly, so I can't help you with step one.
The split thread the needle however feels very much different, try and do it slowly a couple of times and just allow it to wrap round your arms and screw up - so A) you see the action and B) you do it slow enough to see where and when you need to move your arms.
To get into it from normal butterfly, really quickly just speed up one hand a little, into split, then slow back down to the right speed again.
Will take you a while but it looks fantastic.
I suck at split butterfly. |

right you may or may not have noticed this already but when you do a butterfly you can keep it going by bouncing your wrists up and down in the same time to get a perfect beat with a split time you "bounce" your wrists left and right so horizontal and then its just a matter of getting the timing right, as for the split ttn, just try playing with this and it works |

if this helps, its a kinda swaying motion with ur wrists
but not enough to make the butterfly move to much, that lks pants
just sorta fiddle around (not in that way, you sick minded person :P) |

yeh like what splinter said is the best way to figure out split butterfly. or speed one up and instead of counting 1bt count 2 ie normal butterfly you go bounce bounce as your hand goes up and down together so count 1, 1 etc. with split your hands move opposite like your doin a really slow drum roll so you count 1, 2, 1, 2 etc. thats probably well confused ya lol it made sense in my head anyway |
