Just bought a pair of LED poi for using at night-time (v busy and only get to practice in the dark so it was kind of essential).
They are the crocjet bag ones with watch batteries that you screw down to get to light up. I have two problems and was wondering if anyone can help:
1) I have got the screw cap stuck-can't get it up or down if anyone has any ideas on freeing it.
2) How do I attach the srings to the ends-there are not split rings or hooks attached to the poi.
If it's something easy I will feel very stupid but at least can start using them.
if anyone can help pleeease let me know
p/s as another thread has anyone been to bestival before as I am really keen to go this year and want to know what others think? |

hi there,
Ok...
firstly it sounds as though your poi cap is cross threaded....a small pair of pliers and a firm turn anti clockwise should sort this out and get the cap loose. secondly, you need to put the balls in the drawstring bags then pull the string from BOTH side so you have two loops...simply clip these two loops to the clip on the end of your strings, this is explianed fully in the little instruction booklet that was supplied in the bag. HI,
thanks for your help and advice.
I managed to borrow a pair of pliers and now have them up and spinning brightly. I must have lost the little instruction book when opening the package in all the excitement.
I have only just learnt the hip reels and turning and butteerfly wings, but as they say a long journey starts with small steps and I'm thoroughly enjoying practicing.
