I can now do the 6 beat but my seven beat is pants!!!

It is like a five beat weave except you cross your arms at the elbow and then at the wrist (like a 5 bt) then you bring it across and undo your knot!!!

Chucruti. glad to see you've got that down (can't actually see anything besides a mangled mass of arm) - but can you honestly say it looks good?

Your arms are all tangled up like a...big tangly thing. There is no flow to it. It's only pro is that its 'hard' and its sounds impressive when you can say you can do it.

Im not fond of a weave with more beats than 5, pure and simply because they are ugly!

yeh i have just learnt to 7bt everything must admit the corkscrew is the easiest. but also doin a reverse 7bt is alot easier than doin it forwards and then when you have mastered that you can do it behind your back will get a vid up soon for you.

7bt corkscrew??? Cool- but how???

The seven beats looks nice when you get it neat- its not sooo tangled when you practice it- you sort of stretch more and it doesn't look so bad.

I can do the forward 7bt weave but not reverse will have to learn!!!

I've been trying to do the 5 beat, although I think I'm not fully sure what I'm doing.
I'm trying to exaggerate the move and even maybe spin it that extra turn for a extra beat just to get the feel of it.

Though I find this pretty hard at the moment as my hands are really unwilling to be my friends while working on the left side.

Same problem as I have with my hands on the right side while trying to learn the BTB 3 beat.

Think I gotta practise a bit more on being lefthanded, maybe have a lefthanded week every now and then :P
