Ooooh you're a sock poi kinda guy arent you.. 8) I've only ever seen the 7bt weave done once with socks and it took me like 10 minutes to actually understand how this move was actually possible! :?

As to how to do it.... I have no idea! Sorry :P

I'm impressed you can manage six beat weave! It's a fiendish move, that one.

It's always that pesky left hand that's last to learn isn't it? (Unless you're left handed perhaps)...

Yes I hate my left hand- although it is getting better- I can do about 1 set of 7 beat before my hands refuse to comply and flail about wildly!! :D

Ok.. I can do a 9 bt weave, it's very easy, but a little bit confusing when learning. Let me record a video here... than i'll put it here to download...

is just persistence, training and concentration
nothing is impossible =D

[added in last post editing]

Click here to download the bad-quality preview of a 9 beat weave:
9 Beat Weave Preview

I'll record next week a video with more quality :]
But, this can show how embarassing is to do 9bt weave, but not impossible.

I thought I could do the 5 beat weave but it turns out its only the 3 beat weave. I'm silly. Embarassed gutted tho. :( I will learn it one day but I haven't been inspired lately. Poi isn't the same without Demelza my best mate who did it also, why did she hav to move to Aussie!!!!

yes, sure it is! just put a protection in your hands and you can do it with fire, it is called "spiral wrap" i don't remember where i've learned it;

i got the camera today, so, i'm gonna start recording video-classes in the middle of the afternoom, i will create a topic posting everything (with medium-high quality)
