How do you start 3 beat backwards weave?

in my weaves i need to be able to swing them to chase each other so that i can go straight into the move from either still or from just swinging them straight (split time, in sync, fw, bw, it doesnt matter just now). to start the fw 3bt weave i swing...

possible? It works in my head, but I can't get it to work with my hands (which sort of defies the point) so basically a 3 beat weave but at 90 degrees... i think......
